I've opened Typepad up several times, thinking I'd like to write a post but then I get overwhelmed and instead try to catch up on the 800+ blog entries written by other people that I've yet to read.
I have Matt working on a banner for my new blog and will be moving over there soon - it's still a Typepad blog but it has a groovy co.uk address (and, yes, I know this is the second time I've mentioned that but that little detail thrills me - just like the thought of changing my locations on Ravelry and Facebook makes me all giggly). I really look forward to a time in the future when I have time to sit down a write a Real Post - something more than catching up. I've been stupid busy, though - last night I went knitting with Ginny and it was the best feeling in the world to just knit without worrying about the three other things I had to do that day or where I had to go.
I received my new Social Security card in the mail today with my married name - that was a little weird. Weirder than seeing it on my new drivers license. Ohio has revamped them all together so the change wasn't just my name. Seeing my married name on a card that otherwise looks like the same one I've had in the past, though, that was different.
No sign of my visa. Tomorrow is the second Salisbury knitting meet up and I had really hoped to be there. I spent our one month anniversary Skype chatting with Matt and writing thank you cards (which still aren't done!) - not what I'd expected to be doing at all. I've started hoping for the worst when it comes to the visa (joking that Matt might have to come here for my birthday in August because I'll still be sleeping in my parents' spare bedroom, visa and passport-less) so that I'll be surprised by anything else.
In other anniversary news, yesterday was the one year anniversary of the first email Matt sent and today the anniversary of my first reply. It's wonderfully crazy that only a year has passed and here we are, married. Yaay!
Awww Emily. Happy psuedoversary. (That's what Arn and I call the little fun anniversaries). I promise this will all be a blip when you look back at it. And selfishly Ginny and I are happy to have you here. And I'm still mad at Matt (just a bit) for taking you away from us!!
