By the time The Order of the Phoenix started at seven (prime seats - we got there an hour early), the rest of the shows for the night were sold out. Amazing. And it was great - the special effects were awesome! Daniel Radcliffe sure has grown up...geesh.
Oh, and there were lots of keen knitted sweaters and scarves and such. Mrs. Weasley's Christmas gifts this year were very colorful!
Something I found interesting: Whitney and I stopped to use the bathroom on the way out and two of the three sinks were out of soap and all four of the towel dispensers were empty. Obviously the theater wasn't thinking about a dozen sold out shows, guzzling sodas and Icees....
The photo? It was taken in Charleston where I also took the photo of my dad that I used on Color Week - Red and Pink. Whoever owns this nearly empty building near my brother's apartment lets artists use the walls behind it as a canvass. When we were there most of the art was done by man called The Sheepman - it was some pretty awesome stuff. And I guess it changes quite often - even though I can't imagine painting over some of it.
Anyway, I thought it was rather funny that some "Potter'd" this poor, solemn little boy....When I pointed it out my brother said I was reading too much into it but, seriously, how could it be anything else?
