These are three of my favorites photos from a knitting catalog I found while thrifting a month or so ago. I really wish I could find a date on it somewhere. I don't know why I never thought to Google it - it's from 1978. All I know is that it's volume no. 668 and it cost $1.00. There was a scrap of newspaper inside that advertises cotton double knit poor boys for $2.99, girls' tricot or cotton half slips for $1.19, small boys' corduroy slacks for $2.99 and boss skirts for $4.99 - my, my how expensive - but washable and available in new fall plaid colors!
